At Active One, we believe in celebrating the incredible achievements of our members, and today, we’re shining the spotlight on someone who has become an inspiration to us all. Since joining us 4 months ago, she has embraced every challenge with enthusiasm and determination, and her journey is nothing short of remarkable.

For her, exercise is more than just physical movement—it’s a way to invest in her health, happiness, and overall well-being. “The older you get, the more important it is to keep moving,” she says. And she truly walks the talk. Her commitment to staying active has helped her feel stronger, more energetic, and better equipped to tackle life’s demands.

Beyond the physical benefits, she cherishes the mental clarity that exercise brings and the joy of connecting with others in the community. Whether it’s sharing a laugh during a session or grabbing a coffee with friends afterward, she’s made exercise a positive, social part of her life.

When it comes to her workouts, she’s all about variety working on balance, coordination and strength but the ladder drills and treadmill are favourites.

What truly stands out is her positive attitude and dedication. As a shift worker, she could have let a busy schedule hold her back, but instead, she uses the flexibility at Active One to make her health a priority. She shows us all that no matter how hectic life gets, it’s possible to stay committed to your goals.

“I’m so grateful I found this place,” she says. “It’s such a welcoming environment where everyone is so friendly. There’s no judgment—just support, encouragement, and a lot of positivity.”
